Cape Town backpackers accommodation is the ideal way to have a cheap holiday in a great part of South Africa. Cape Town is jam packed with things to do and places to see – what’s even better is that there are plenty of affordable places to stay as well. Many of the backpackers in the city centre are self catering which means that you can buy the food that you want and need and don’t have to spend a fortune on eating out. There are great sights in the area, as well as awesome night clubs on Long Street to visit too. You are guaranteed to have fun if you choose Cape Town as your holiday destination.

If you’re interested in staying in the centre of town then Cape Town backpackers accommodation will meet those needs. Whether you choose to stay on Long Street, in Greenpoint or Sea Point you’ll be close to the action. There are hundreds of places to stay, including famous backpackers like Big Blue, Daddy Cool and the Purple Turtle. These are all self catering which means that you can buy affordable food, saving all your money to have fun in the night clubs. Keep your eye out for Neighbourhood Lounge and Zula Bar if you’re keen for a good time.

What is even better about these self catering spots is that they are close to some of the day time things to see like Table Mountain, The V&A Waterfront and Parliament. Cape Town is simply bursting at the seams with life, love and energy. When you’re in a town this exciting the last thing you want to worry about is that you’re staying in uncomfortable or dirty accommodation. A great way to find good backpackers is to look for people’s reviews of them. These are the most honest comments on Cape Town backpackers accommodation.

The planetarium in Cape Town city is an incredible place for both children and adults to learn more about the amazing potential of the universe. It is an amazing space with hundreds of things to do and see, and is a great educational venue for people of all ages. Admission is relatively cheap and as it is located in the city centre, there is plenty of other places to visit that are extremely close to it.

For directions or a map to the planetarium in Cape Town city all you need to do is visit the website online. This useful site also provides a list of shows and educational tours that are taking place at different times of the year. Often the planetarium has evening shows where the various galaxies and constellations that are visible in the Southern Hemisphere are mapped and explained in a way that is easily accessible for the general public. Each member of the audience is provided with a helpful star map that allows them to take what they have learned home with them. For a very small admission fee, you really do gain a huge wealth of information.

If you are in the City Bowl area and are looking for things to do whilst waiting for a show at the Planetarium you will not be disappointed. The city centre houses some incredible museums and is very close to Table Mountain. A walk up and down the mountain only takes about 4 hours, and you can always take the cable car if you don’t fancy the hike. The Steve Biko museum and Parliament are also within walking distance of the planetarium. It is fairly easy to get a map and directions from any tour agency and it is really easy to find the planetarium in Cape Town city.

Backpackers accommodation in Cape Town is just one of the many things that the city is able to boast about. When you are looking for great places to stay, backpackers are always an option. If you need somewhere to stay that is close to all the major night clubs in the city where the word “fun” is just another three-letter word incorporated into everyday living, then the backpackers on Long Street is calling your name! Self catering, convenient, stunning, sophisticated, affordable, are these just a few of the words you want to hear? Then this is the place you want to be!

The one located on Long Street, near the night clubs, is just one of the many that there are in Cape Town. You have a choice between self catering or not, and don’t feel pressurized to make a decision, it is entirely up to you. Cooking in Cape Town is a lot of fun, but then again so is sitting back and relaxing while your meals are brought to you, so it’s all up to your personal preferences.

There are thousands of places to stay in Cape Town, so you have to decide on where you would like to be, but if you are looking for the most central and easiest place to stay, one of the back packers is your best bet. You have many options when you are looking for backpackers acomodation in Cape Town, but they are all great so you can choose the one that suits you best by its location.

Cape Town Planetarium is a great attraction for visitors to the city to take the children to, or for you to visit on your own. Make sure you give yourself at least a couple of hours before visiting this popular exploration of space and our solar system and the stars. No matter what your reason is for the visit, from something educational for the children, to a business team building exercise, you are sure to find what best suits you. Find out about the admission, how many people are allowed and what it costs before you decide on times and a specific day on which to visit the planetarium.

There are many things to do in the city, but know that a trip to the Cape Town planetarium is a wonderful idea and an experience that will last in your memory. Teach the kids about space and they are sure to be interested to know that should they go up there, they will not be able to stand on the ground. Gravity or lack of it seems to interest kids and with a scenic background of Table Mountain, they will have a fantastic time. Cape Town is a great city if you want to try out some new things and see the world from another perspective; this is the city where things happen, there are friendly people, lots of different things to do and very interesting and exciting other places to visit.

The price of visiting the planetarium is affordable for most but find out the exact the admission fees and costs beforehand. It is an educational place to take the children to, but you as an adult could probably also learn a thing or two from visiting it. Space is a very intriguing place, adults and kids alike are fascinated by what can be seen and the vastness of it all. Before you head out to spend some time at the Cape Town planetarium, don’t forget to call and enquire about the admission.

Cape Town malls and shopping centres include Canal Walk, the V&A Waterfront and Cavendish Square located in the southern suburb of Claremont. There are many products available for sale at the shops in the malls and areas to shop including quality jewelery, fashion and African artifacts that suit just about anyones budget. Local flea markets and street side vendors are also selling products of interest and items specific to South Africa for tourists to buy as souveniers.

Other than the malls in Cape Town and shopping centres in and around the city itself are places to shop such as the Tyger Valley Shopping Centre, Willowbridge in Durbanville and Somerset Mall in the Somerset West area. These are all established favourites selling a wide variety of goods from an array of stores throughout. Often the centres outside of the city itself are quiet and worth visiting during office hours in the week to make the shopping experience less crowded and more enjoyable.

Opening hours of shops and restaurants will vary slightly from one centre to the next with stores being open for longer hours over the Christmas holiday period in December. Security is of utmost important at any of the centers in the Western Cape and although there is the odd incident from time to time, they are extremely safe places for families to spend a few hours or the day at. Whether it’s the latest in fashion clothing, new furniture, a meal or take aways from the restaurants or even just your weekly groceries you need to buy, there is more than adequate parking available at any of the Cape Town malls and shopping centres in the area.

Street maps for the city of Cape Town are available to help people navigate their way around the central business district as well as the surrounding suburbs in the area. Directions are often needed by business people who may not know their way around the city at all or are not quite sure how to get to a specific place. Not everybody has GPS systems installed in their cars so having a physical map in the glove compartment or somewhere else in the vehicle is always going to come in handy to those who need directions frequently in and around the region.

Getting directions from a simple road map for the Cape Town area is something millions of people have used successfully for decades. Finding your way around the suburbs by motor car can prove to be quite a daunting task without the right kind of direction especially when you need to drive up over Table Mountain or around the Twelve Apostles to places like Hout Bay, Noordehoek or Llandudno. It is also important to try and make sure you avoid dangerous areas and suburbs where crime is high and people entering who may not be so “street wise” are in possible danger, especially at night time. The Cape is generally safe but there certainly are a few “no go” areas as with most cities around the world.

Millions of tourists flock to this region of South Africa every year and many of them hire a car to use as a means of getting from a hotel, bed and breakfast or other accommodation to see the sights of the city. Table Mountain, the beaches around the city, the V&A Waterfront, boat trips to Robben Island, Chapmans Peak, Simons Town, these are among some of the most popular tourist attractions that people visit in the region and having street maps for the Cape Town City will help in getting directions to these places.
